(NYSE Amex: NBS) which is pioneering the pre-disease collection, processing and long-term storage of adult stem cells for future medical need, announced today that Alan Harris, M.D., Ph.D., the Company's Vice President of Drug Development and Regulatory Affairs, will speak at a conference on Clinical Applications for Age Management Medicine, taking place in Las Vegas, November 5-8, 2009.

Dr. Harris's presentation will take place during a special pre-conference session on November 5, 2009, focused on "Regenerative Medicine: From Autologous Platelet Derived Growth Factors (PRP) to Stem Cells." The subject of his talk is "The Apheresis Product: A Rich Source of Pluripotent VSELs, Stem Cells and Progenitor Cells for Autologous Banking and Cellular Therapies."

Apheresis utilizes a minimally invasive procedure that members of NeoStem's collection network employ to collect stem cells from peripheral blood to store, using NeoStem's proprietary cryogenic technology, for the donor's personal use in time of medical need.
