RAC raises money for the ACS as well as David's House, a residence forcancer patient's families in Dartmouth, N.H., and the Tomorrow Fund, whichprovides financial and emotional support for children who have cancer inProvidence, R.I.

National Speed Sport News, through its Grass Roots Tour, will collectmoney for RAC, while auctioning off special racing memorabilia such asautographed helmets and collector's items. The auctions will be administeredby www.GoMotorBids.com(TM), which has helped National Speed Sport News raisemoney for charity in the past.
"Last year we raised funds for the Championship Auto Racing Auxiliary, andthis year we are targeting Racing Against Cancer(TM) and it's our way ofgiving back and keeping our involvement in our industry," said NSSN PublisherCorinne Economaki. "This should be a winning arrangement for all of us."

"It is partnerships like this that is going to not only generate asignificant amount of funds to fight cancer, but will also help bring RacingAgainst Cancer(TM) much needed exposure to bring RAC to the next level."
RAC items up for a June 2 auction include autographed items from NASCARCup champion Tony Stewart, including a driver's suit and a body panel from amodified Stewart raced at New Hampshire Int'l Speedway in July 2006. Inaddition, hundreds of driver-autographed items, including hero cards, are upfor bid.
RAC (www.RacingAgainstCancer.com) has collected more than $500,000 since1996 for its beneficiaries. It operates primarily in the Northeast, and can befound at race tracks throughout New England.
