New Alliance to provide access to health care coverage; related products and services to nearly one million restaurant owners and 13 million restaurant employees

National Restaurant Association President and CEO Dawn Sweeney and Board Chair Mike Gibbons will hold TELE-PRESS CONFERENCE ON FRIDAY, MAY 21st AT 12:15 PM ET

Chicago - On the eve of the premiere industry trade show, the National Restaurant Association's top officials will hold a national tele-press conference to announce a major health care initiative called "Restaurant Health Care Alliance." The National Restaurant Association President and CEO Dawn Sweeney and Chairman of the Board Mike Gibbons will make the announcement in a national tele-press conference on Friday, May 21, at 12:15 PM ET.

The Restaurant Health Care Alliance is a joint project of the National Restaurant Association and UnitedHealthcare. This Alliance will provide a new suite of health care products that will help nearly 13 million restaurant employees gain easier, lower cost access to health care coverage and related products and services.

Dawn Sweeney is president and chief executive officer of the National Restaurant Association, the chief business association for the restaurant industry.
