Attendees from Apple, Bayer, Chevron, GM, Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, Office Depot, Toyota, US Army and hundreds of other companies and healthcare facilities came to the NECE looking for ways to combat a challenging economy. Attendees left the NECE with proven strategies for increasing safety, productivity, and the bottom line in any type of workplace.

"Seeing nearly every exhibitor renew their exhibit space, some increasing the size of their booth, and new companies that visited the show already joining the 2009 Expo is especially rewarding given the current economic climate," remarked Walter Charnizon, President of Continental Exhibitions, Inc. owners/producers of the NECE. Just days after the show, nearly 90% of exhibitors and counting have already renewed, marking the fifth year in a row that the overwhelming majority of exhibitors have immediately renewed. "There are no 'tire kickers' here," said Sherry Rose, Ergonomics Product Manager for AliMed, "everyone is here to do business and it was non-stop on the show floor!"

This year's show also featured the 7th Annual NECE Attendees' Choice Awards, with the audience voting for the new products they felt are most likely to increase productivity and profitability, while improving workplace health and safety. Winners of the 2008 NECE Attendees' Choice Awards were (in alphabetical order): RollerMouse Excel by Contour Design; the zeroG(TM) Arm by Equipois, Inc.; Goldtouch Go! Travel Keyboard by Goldtouch; and marking their 4th Attendees' Choice win since the awards program began in 2002, Herman Miller won with their new Embody chair.

The 2009 NECE, Dec. 1 - 4 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas will take place in the hotel's newest event space. Announcements will be posted year-round at www.ErgoExpo.com.
