"As nurses, it's always great to hear 'thank you,' but it's especially meaningful coming from some of the biggest names in Minnesota sports," says Linda Hamilton, RN, President of the MNA. "It just reminds us that everyone - including sports stars - needs medical care at one time or another, and that nurses have been and always will be there for our patients."

Founded in 1905, the Minnesota Nurses Association currently represents more than 20,000 nurses across the state. Vikings players join other Minnesota pro athletes and coaches such as the NBA's Kevin Love and Gophers Basketball Coach Tubby Smith in saluting Minnesota Nurses.
