NEW YORK, January 7, 2010 --
STORY SUMMARY:
Available for download -- videos and photos of Celine Cousteau and a small team of medical volunteers who ventured into the indigenous and mestizo villages of the Peruvian Amazon to provide needed medical care to remote populations living in the Upper Amazon Basin of Northeastern Peru. Celine worked with the volunteer team, Amazon Promise, to assist with medical needs, but also went to film, photograph and record the journey and efforts of the organization. The resulting short video not only tells the story of Celine's personal journey, but more importantly the journey of this non-profit striving to help one person at a time. The video was donated to Amazon Promise.
