The Healthy Hoops program will provide Keystone Mercy Members and programparticipants with health assessments, blood pressure, BMI, height, weight andspirometry screenings (to test lung capacity). Nutrition information anddemonstrations on the use of asthma control devices will also be taught. Inaddition to the program, participants will be invited to attend the "CharlieMack Celebrity Basketball Program," immediately following the screenings.

Healthy Hoops was created in 2002, by Keystone Mercy Health Plan, incollaboration with the Healthy Hoops Coalition, whose members includeAstraZeneca, Crozer-Keystone Health System, local basketball coaches andhealth organizations.
