Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System (MCERS) Goes Live with V3 Self-Service

NEW YORK, Nov. 4 Vitech Systems Group, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for benefits administration, announced today that the Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System (MCERS) has gone live with Vitech's web-based customer self-service solution. This new self-service system will allow the almost 15,000 active and retired employees of Milwaukee County to receive real-time information and to perform real-time transactions related to their retirement and healthcare benefits via the internet.

This go live represents the latest expansion of MCERS' existing V3 Benefits System implementation. MCERS' entire V3 solution, including the new self-service capabilities, is being hosted by Vitech at its world-class data center in Hawthorne, New York.

"Our new V3 self-service functionality will have a very real and beneficial impact on our customer service operations. The MCERS solution consists of member demographics, dependent and beneficiary maintenance, work history, contributions, pension, participant account, service credit purchase, document imaging, and disbursement functionality. Additionally V3 handles workflow management, check processing as well as inbound and outbound interfaces from and to third party vendors ranging from payroll to death record audits. The system also supports member enrollments for life and health benefits.

MCERS provides for a system of retirement, disability, and death benefits for its employees and is managed by a nine member Pension Board.
