(CLEVELAND, Ohio) -- The Ohio chapter of the Partnership to Fight ChronicDisease (PFCD) will host a community forum on chronic disease from 10 a.m.until noon on Thursday, March 20 at Ideastream studios (1375 Euclid Avenue) indowntown Cleveland. The forum will feature a presentation by Ross DeVol,director of Regional Economics for the Milken Institute, who will comment onthe findings of a disease study that examined national trends as well asspecific information on Ohio.

The forum will also include two panel discussions in which local officialsand health care professionals will offer a local perspective to chronicdisease prevention and management.

The PFCD is committed to raising awareness, particularly among electedofficials and opinion leaders, of policies and practices that save lives andreduce health costs through more effective prevention and management ofchronic diseases.
