Microbia PE Adds Nutritional Ingredient Industry Veteran Charles Walton to Senior Management Team

LEXINGTON, Mass., Jan. 12 Microbia Precision Engineering,Inc. (Microbia) announced today that Charles Wesley Walton has joined thecompany as Director of North American Sales. In this newly created position,Mr. Walton will be responsible for developing and maintaining businessaccounts and building customer relationships across North America.

Chuck Walton's experience in senior-level sales and marketing, productdevelopment, and strategic planning positions with food and nutritionalsupplements companies spans more than 20 years. Before joining Microbia,Mr. Walton was Executive Vice President and a co-founder of Attitude DrinkCompany, for which he created the IQZOL and Vis Viva brands and managedproduct development. Prior to that, he served as Director of ProductDevelopment and Innovation for Bravo! Brands, after serving 17 years withDSM Nutritional products (formerly Roche Vitamins, Inc.). At Roche Vitamins,Mr. Walton was a Senior Account Manager and a major contributor to productdesign and new product introductions specializing in the food and beverageindustry representing more than $30 million in revenue. At DSM Nutritional,Mr. Walton received five President's Achievement awards for outstanding salesand three top supplier awards from major food and beverage manufacturers.Mr. Walton holds a B.S. in Marketing and Business Administration from SaintCloud State University.
