Mentice, Inc. and the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) Announce Their Partnership in the Area of Procedural Medical Simulation

EVANSTON, Ill., Aug. 13 Mentice, Inc. and MATC have forgeda relationship that will allow the two entities to work on multiple andmutually beneficial projects to further advance the use of simulation intechnical colleges and teaching institutions throughout North America.

Mentice's Procedicus VIST Simulator allows a student, fellow, resident,nurse, technician and/or attending physician to gain exposure to routine andsophisticated procedures. The user can perform simulated procedures on amannequin-type simulator in the areas of interventional radiology,interventional cardiology and vascular surgery. The simulator provides arealistic and hands-on experience which requires assessments to be made andassociated clinical decisions to be executed.

In addition, MATC will support Mentice in its quest to broaden the scopeof its capabilities while broadening the market for medical simulation.
