OTTAWA, June 24 /PRNewswire/ - The Canadian Medical Association's (CMA) 143rd annual meeting (General Council) will be all about patient-centred care as delegates will converge in Niagara Falls, ON from August 23 to 25, 2010 at the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel.
This year's General Council theme is Change that Works. Care that Lasts.
Key features of the meeting include a presentation by Canada's Auditor General, Sheila Fraser, on the need to improve accountability and responsibility in the health care system.
Other strategic and education sessions will focus on the sustainability aspect of CMA's Health Care Transformation project and its Patient-centred care Charter.
