Matthew J. McCall, M.D. Joins Atlanta Clinical Care

ATLANTA, Aug. 23 Atlanta Clinical Care, a specialty infectious disease practice, today announced the appointment of Matthew J. McCall, M.D., as a full time associate.

Dr. McCall joins the practice following completion of a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Alabama.

"Dr. McCall is an outstanding physician graduate of the University of Alabama's highly regarded infectious disease program," said Steven I. Marlowe, M.D., FACP, FIDSA, managing partner of Atlanta Clinical Care. "He brings special expertise to patients with complex transplant associated infections, infections associated with prosthetic devices, opportunistic infections and general infectious disease problems."

A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. McCall trained in internal medicine at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh where he also served as Chief Resident in Medicine. He graduated from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 2004.

Atlanta Clinical Care is located at 5673 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Suite 330, Atlanta, GA 30342 on the Saint Joseph's medical campus.
