JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 24 -- MSC Care Management, a national leader in the delivery of medical products and services to the Workers' Compensation industry, has appointed Therese White, RN, FACHE, CCM, as manager of the Catastrophic Care team. Therese, a graduate of the University of Florida College of Nursing, with a Masters in Health Services Management from Webster University, served for 30 years as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer in a variety of clinical and leadership positions, including Regional Operations Manager for TRICARE Southern California, Senior Nurse Executive & Director of Surgical Services in Naples, Italy, and Director of Managed Care at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. She has extensive case management experience with the US Navy, including wounded warrior care for navy men and women in Florida and Georgia. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a Certified Case Manager. Therese is a member of the Local Program Council for the Florida ACHE Chapter, the Public Policy Liaison for Jacksonville Case Management of America Chapter, President of the Florida Navy Nurse Corps Association chapter, and a SHINE Volunteer with the Area Agency on Aging.

She will manage a team of seven RN catastrophic care managers, joining two RN directors and support associates who provide a single point of contact for all products and services for severely injured workers.
