SPRINGFIELD GARDENS, N.Y., Oct. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- After a former Early Childhood Center student passed away from a

choking incident at his school in Pensacola, ECC principal, Brian Tice, reached out to LifeVac to purchase some of the units for their campus.

Arthur Lih, Founder and CEO of LifeVac,

spoke with Mr. Tice and the company made the decision to donate 30 units. "This school stepped up and said we have to make a difference, we got to make a change, and they're going to put it in their whole district to stop these tragedies from happening," said Mr. Lih. "When we heard about the recent tragedy and Brian's passion to prevent this from ever happening again, we knew wanted to help," Lih continued.

Mr. Tice will keep 14 units for his school and distribute the remainder to other pre-k and elementary schools across Marianna County.

"We just want to make sure that we have the tools necessary to do what needs to be done in the case of an emergency," said Principal Tice.

Tice says that they are grateful for the donation and hope that they can get the word out about how helpful the LifeVac can be.
