CHICO, Calif., Feb. 23 Landacorp, a SHPS company, today announced it is integrating Milliman Care Guidelines' CareWebQIŽ software with its CareRadius suite of care management software. CareWebQI is interactive point-and-click software that provides access to the evidence-based Milliman Care GuidelinesŽ. It allows health plans to capture and report on real-time clinical data, measure healthcare performance against national quality standards, track variances from best practice, and identify inappropriate care.
"Integrating CareRadius technology and Care Guidelines clinical content is a continuation of our efforts to provide a single care management desktop," said Jay Dunlap, general manager of Landacorp. "It enables health plans and care providers to work together in facilitating patient care decisions that are based on best-in-practice clinical guidelines."
The CareRadius suite, a web-based, service-oriented architecture (SOA) solution, functions as the care management desktop. It brings together all data and activities related to a member's health into a single, "member-centric" view. The integration of these two solutions automates clinically valid patient care plans, and improves the consistency and efficiency of care management while supporting efforts to meet and maintain industry accreditation standards.
"By combining our advanced clinical content with Landacorp's care management solution, we actually leverage the power of each to even better optimize care planning automation," said Lynn Nemiccolo, Milliman Care Guidelines Vice President of Product Management. "Such offerings make improved evidence-based clinical review possible throughout the entire continuum of care."
