L'Oreal Paris Continues Passionate Commitment to Ovarian Cancer Research and Awareness Programs in 2008

NEW YORK, Sept. 8 More than 30 years ago, L'Oreal Pariscoined the phrase "Because I'm Worth It" to celebrate a woman's worth andself-esteem. In 1997, as an extension of this sentiment, L'Oreal Paris beganraising money and awareness in the fight against ovarian cancer. Over thepast eleven years, L'Oreal Paris has offered hope to the tens of thousands ofwomen afflicted with ovarian cancer, helping raise in excess of $14 milliondollars to advance research, increase awareness and ultimately find a cure.
