Kimberly-Clark Professional Donates Supplies to Assist Atlanta in Flood Cleanup Efforts

ROSWELL, Ga., Oct. 20 Kimberly-Clark Professional is donating thousands of health and hygiene products to the Atlanta Community Tool Bank to help local nonprofits and charitable groups clean up from the extensive damage caused by severe flooding over the past few weeks.

"The recent storms that have hit Atlanta have damaged so many businesses and homes right here in our backyard," said Richard Thorne, Vice President of Kimberly-Clark Professional, North America, which is based in Roswell, Ga. "At Kimberly-Clark Professional, our focus is on enhancing the health, hygiene and well-being of people everywhere, particularly those in need. We hope this donation will help our local business community, as well as its residents, in the flood cleanup effort."

-- 10,000 WypAll wipers - general purpose, disposable wipers that absorb liquids, lubricants and oils. -- 30,000 pairs of KleenGuard gloves, which offer excellent hand protection for many tasks. -- 5,000 KleenGuard coveralls and other apparel, which offer protection and comfort for cleanup workers and volunteers. -- 4,000 pairs of KleenGuard safety glasses to provide eye protection during flood cleanup efforts.
