Delphon acquired UltraTape Industries on June20, 2007 to support its mission to merge innovative technologies in order toprovide unique materials and services to high technology markets. Mr. Taft has more than twenty-five years of experience in engineering,marketing, sales, R&D, and operations. Previously he held the positions ofChief Operating Officer at Advanced Material Sciences of Folsom, CA and VicePresident at Electro Scientific Industries in Portland, OR. He has also heldexecutive positions with Kyocera America in San Diego, CA. Mr. Taft holds adegree in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Washington and hasadditional training in strategic selling and marketing.
UltraTape, founded in 1992 and purchased by Delphon in 2007, manufacturescustom cleanroom construction and semiconductor process tapes in addition toantistatic and medical/pharmaceutical tapes for use in critical environments.
