The Meadowbrook Medical Center was opened in January 2008 by a group of medical and surgical specialists who want to offer a variety of medical services to area residents. The location is central to eight area hospitals.
"Our vision is to provide outstanding outpatient medical services in a beautiful facility with easy access to care for the patient," said Jeff S. Pierce, D.O., of Meadowbrook Medical Center. "Having the Karmanos Cancer Center as part of Meadowbrook Medical Center assures that patients will have access to cancer care second-to-none."
In addition to the Meadowbrook location, Karmanos Cancer Center also operates the Lawrence and Idell Weisberg Cancer Treatment Center, in Farmington Hills, and has affiliations with several other hospitals both in the United States and abroad. Patients at every affiliate benefit from access to Karmanos resources within their own communities, without having to travel long distances for treatment or second opinions.
