MINNEAPOLIS, March 16 Kardia Health Systems (Kardia) and TomTec Imaging Systems (TomTec) today announced a new partnership to deliver TomTec's multi-modality cardiovascular image analysis technology as a part of Kardia Complete(TM), Kardia's forthcoming Web-based service to simplify workflow and save time in cardiology practices.

Kardia Complete extends structured reporting and workflow technology by providing cardiologists convenient and remote management capabilities of patient images and records, allowing them to work anytime from anywhere. With TomTec technology, cardiologists will be able to review diagnostic images with the same accuracy and tools available on popular cardiovascular imaging devices.

"TomTec is a recognized innovator worldwide in the field of diagnostic medical imaging," said Doug Marinaro, president of Kardia Health Systems. "Through our integration of TomTec technology with the Kardia Complete software service, physicians in small and mid-sized practices will be able to affordably access an expanding array of cardiovascular clinical image analysis and archiving applications."

"TomTec is pleased to be an inaugural partner for the Kardia Complete platform," said Frank Schlau, chief marketing officer at TomTec. "Combining TomTec's unmatched clinical and research oriented analysis tools with Kardia's state of the art IT expertise creates solutions for economical and improved clinical outcomes."

Kardia Complete will combine image viewing, structured reporting and archiving into one seamless solution for small and mid-sized cardiology practices.

Kardia Complete will be available in Q3 2010 in the U.S. market on a modest fee-per-study pricing plan that is more cost effective than purchasing and managing a dedicated system over the legal life of a study. With this economical fee-per-study pricing, practices can avoid large upfront investments, annual support fees, data storage costs and periodic system upgrade charges.
