Jacobs Receives Contract for the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Specialized Medical Complex in Casablanca, Morocco

PASADENA, Calif., July 29 Jacobs EngineeringGroup Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from AbuDhabi Municipality to provide architecture, design, and supervision servicesfor the 65,000-square-meter health facility. To be located in the AnfaDistrict, a future center for urban expansion in Casablanca, the complex willhouse specialized wards, a nursing school, a central laboratory, a radiologycenter, and a VIPs ward.

The US $100 million health facility will be built by a donation offered byUAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Jacobs will perform the architectural design in association withArchitecture Studio, a well-known French architecture company. This projectwill also include commercial buildings whose revenues will be used to run themedical city ensuring superior performance, operation, and maintenance.Construction work is expected to commence by year end, and will last 30months.
