Elsevier, the information analytics business specializing in scienceand health, has announced that the Italian National Agency for University and Research Systems Evaluations (ANVUR) has selected Scopus, the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed scientific literature, as its bibliometric
This funding project represents a first of its kind special initiative undertaken by the Italian government for which it is making an additional 45 million Euros available for research funding for Italian researchers. Throughout 2017, this is the largest sum of national funding which has been made available for allocation to researchers on a competitive basis.
