Iowa Governor Chet Culver will join Genencor's senior management and other honored guests to cut the ribbon on Genencor's new 20,000-square-foot Grain Processing Applied Innovation Center and expanded 140,000-square-foot enzyme manufacturing plant. The projects represent a combined investment of $52 million. Numerous customers from ethanol and carbohydrates processing companies will attend, along with employees. In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony and festivities, the event will include tours of Genencor's world-class laboratory and enzyme manufacturing center.
