Walter Packaging Corp. The packaging division includes specimen transport bags, stat bags and other medical packaging, and is a valued addition to the Inteplast product portfolio. The acquisition brings the Speci-Gard brand name, sales and customer base into the Inteplast fold.
The new packaging division is a beneficial addition to IBS's already-strong health care plastics and packaging initiatives. With the addition of these products, IBS can now focus on all levels of the health care market, group purchase organizations (GPOs) as well as distribution channels.
