Companies selected to participate in AdvaMed 2007 were chosen by acommittee comprised of leading business development and licensing executives,venture capitalists, and other industry experts. "The committee is thrilledwith the quality of applicants for the conference. The selected companies area combination of exciting technology innovators and commercial leaders in theMedTech industry," said Matt Rieke, M.D., Co-Chair of the AdvaMed 2007Business Development Committee and Partner at Quaker BioVentures. "We areproud of the first round of selection, and look forward to completing thecompany presentation selection process in early September. Applications arestill being accepted on a rolling basis through August."

Specific time slots and locations for each company presentation will beannounced in late September, along with the additional 16 presentingcompanies. Company presentations will be organized into a number ofcategories, including: Cardiovascular, Diagnostics, Imaging, MetabolicDisease/Obesity, Neurovascular, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Wound Care andadditional growth sectors. Presentations will be 14 minutes each in length andwill take place on Wednesday, October 3, 2007.
