Organizers designed the event to encourage students to continue theirstudies and to emphasize the importance of a college education. The purpose ofthe event was also to address the lack of resources available for thesestudents to succeed. Academic and civic leaders presented during theinformation workshops to inspire students to participate in mentoringprograms.

Infinity, through the Infinity Cares program, continues to supportstudents with tools to help them reach their dreams during these difficulteconomic times. Infinity that same week partnered with the LA Galaxy insupport of their school supply drive. Infinity employees help staffedcollection sites to gather contributions from fans attending the soccer matchon August 21st. A total of 1,500 items were donated on behalf of fans toLeapwood Elementary and School on Wheels.
