The first clinical trial (carried out from January throughOctober 2006) involved 130 patients. Results demonstrated that following athree-treatment protocol using the UltraShape Contour I system, 92% ofpatients experienced a measurable reduction in body circumference and 88% ofpatients expressed satisfaction with their results. The second trial(conducted from October 2006 through January 2007 on 24 patients) follows athree-treatment protocol, with shortened intervals between treatments, and hasdemonstrated preliminary results of successful mean circumferential reductionof 3.54 cm after only two treatments.
