Human Genome Sciences to Sponsor Conference Call

ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 8 Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: HGSI) today announced that it will sponsor a conference call to discuss the results of ACHIEVE 2/3, its Phase 3 trial of Albuferon(R) (albinterferon alfa-2b) in chronic hepatitis C.

The conference call will be hosted by senior management and will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 8:15 am Eastern Time.
