Hospital Treating Bret Michaels Listed Among Nation's Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report

PHOENIX, July 19 The hospital that treated Bret Michaels has been named by U.S. News & World Report one of the nation's best hospitals.

Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix is ranked in the top 10 best hospitals for neurology and neurosurgery. Barrow has treated many well known figures including recent patients, rocker Bret Michaels and Boston Red Sox pitcher Ryan Westmoreland.

"I owe my life to Barrow," says Michaels, who was treated at the Phoenix hospital after sustaining a critical brain hemorrhage in April. "Barrow helped me overcome this medical emergency which many don't survive without excellent medical care."

U.S. News & World Report's annual listing of top hospitals is the most respected of all national rankings. St. Joseph's Barrow Neurological Institute is consistently ranked in the top 10.
