TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Jan. 10 The Yotta Bar(R), developedby two Michigan parents as a result of struggling to get their two-year old toeat his vegetables, provides one full serving of hidden vegetables and fruitin a low-calorie granola bar with three fruit flavors. Yotta Bars are nowavailable nationwide at Whole Foods stores for those consumers needing tosneak extra servings of vegetables and fruits into their diets.

"How many times have we all heard the phrase, 'you have to eat yourvegetables'", asks Undercover Vegetable Company(R) Co-founder Melissa Ewing."According to the USDA, 89 percent of Americans today do not eat the dailyrecommended five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables per day. Mostpeople you know fall into that category and need to supplement their dietswith an easy and appetizing way to eat healthier."

Each Yotta Bar tastes like all natural cherry, orange or apple-cinnamon,but contains 6-9 different vegetables and one full serving of vegetables andfruit in each bar. In addition to vegetables, Yotta Bars contain eight othersimple ingredients - oats, brown rice syrup, pear juice concentrate, crisprice, evaporated cane juice, dried apples and canola oil. States Ewing, "Partof the idea from the beginning was to have a clean and pronounceableingredient list."

Whole Foods Market, the world's largest retailer of natural and organicfoods is introducing the Undercover Vegetable Company's Yotta Bars in its 260stores across the U.S. in January 2008.
