Healthcare Trust of America Board of Directors Declares Distributions

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 15 The Board of Directors of Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. ("HTA"), a self-managed, non-traded, real estate investment trust, declared cash distributions for the months of April, May, and June 2010. These distributions will be calculated based on the stockholders of record each day during the aforementioned months and will equal a 7.25% annualized rate based on a share price of $10.00.

The payment date for the daily distributions for the period commencing April 1, 2010 and ending April 30, 2010 will be May 3, 2010. The payment date for the daily distributions for the period commencing May 1, 2010 and ending May 31, 2010 will be June 1, 2010. The payment date for the daily distributions for the period commencing June 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2010 will be July 1, 2010.
