Harrisburg – Secretary of Health Everette James and former Pittsburgh Steeler Franco Harris will visit the Mt. Royal Middle School in Glenshaw, Allegheny County, at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 28, to applaud the school for taking part in the Department of Health's Active Schools grant program.
As one of 40 Active Schools, Mt. Royal has implemented a creative approach to engage middle school students in at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day. Students will be available for media interviews and photo opportunities.
