HHS Assistant Secretary for Health Howard K. Koh and Miami-Dade County Health Department Administrator Lillian Rivera to Discuss H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Vaccines

HHS Assistant Secretary for Health Howard K. Koh, M.D., MPH will join Miami-Dade Health Department Administrator Lillian Rivera, RN, MSN, PhD to tour the Doris Ison Health Center and discuss the importance of H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines.  Members of the community will be at the Doris Ison center receiving their flu shots.

Press are invited to accompany Dr. Koh and Ms. Rivera on a 20-minute tour of the Center. The clinic tour will be led by Brodes H. Hartley, Jr., President and CEO of the Community Health of South Florida, Inc.  After the tour, officials will answer questions from community members and the press. There will also be a viewing of singer Marc Anthony's PSA that gives simple advice on how to prevent getting and spreading the flu.
