The 1,500 positions – a combination of new and replacement openings – span the entire health system and include clinical and office locations in Harrisburg, the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre area, the State College region, Lewistown, Shamokin, Bloomsburg and Danville. In addition, the health system has filled 444 new positions since July 1, 2016.
Geisinger's recruitment efforts are bolstered by its dedication to quality and service, innovative use of the electronic health record and pioneering unique care models such as ProvenExperience, ProvenHealth Navigator and ProvenCare.
