Golden Meditech Announces Redemption of Convertible Notes

HONG KONG, Nov. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden Meditech Holdings Limited (SEHK stock code: 00801, TWSE stock code: 910801)

(the "Company"), a leading integrated healthcare enterprise in China, is pleased to announce today that it has paid a sum of approximately US$25,230,000 to redeem the 5% redeemable
convertible notes due November 2017 in an aggregate principal amount of US$20 million (the "Convertible Notes") from Gem Power International Limited (an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary of CCB International (Holdings) Limited ).

Following the redemption, the Convertible Notes will be cancelled and the Company will be discharged from all of its obligations under the Convertible Notes.
