("Global Med" or the "Company") (OTC Bulletin Board: GLOB), an international healthcare information technology company, today announced that its Wyndgate Technologies® division has licensed ElDorado Donor® blood management software and Donor Doc® health history questionnaire to Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City ("CBC") of Kansas City, Missouri. ElDorado Donor blood management software combines system management, donor management tools, testing, manufacturing processes and distribution into one application which will allow CBC to have a reliable information stream from donation to final distribution. ElDorado Donor was developed as part of an integrated modular system specifically designed for community and hospital-based donor centers to increase efficiency and help enhance blood safety during the manufacture of blood products for transfusion.

Global Med's Donor Doc software will unite an electronic pre-donation health history questionnaire with ElDorado Donor's complex blood management system to help evaluate donor suitability for donation prior to processing blood products. According to the FDA's Biologics Guidance, donor questionnaires play an important role in identifying most ineligible donors(1). The primary point of questioning a donor is to make certain that the donor is in good health, the donation process is safe for the donor, and to identify risk factors for diseases transmissible by blood and blood components.
