The survey is the first to assess Care Improvement Plus plan membersatisfaction since the plan underwent a major expansion in 2007, launchingservices in five additional states, including Georgia and South Carolina.Among the key findings from the survey:
-- Overall satisfaction was high: 95 percent of southeast regional memberswere satisfied with the plan overall
-- Members are highly likely to recommend the plan to others: 91 percentof southeast regional members were likely to recommend the plan to otherMedicare beneficiaries with chronic illnesses
-- Members value plan benefits and coverage: More than 90 percent ofsoutheast regional members were completely or very satisfied with the plan'smedical coverage and prescription drug benefits
-- Members are pleased with disease management support the plan provides:96 percent of southeast regional members who participated in the plan'sdisease management program were satisfied with the program
-- Members cite health status improvements: 92 percent of southeastregional members felt that their health had "stayed the same" or "gottenbetter" since joining the plan. 30 percent of members felt their health had"gotten better" since joining Care Improvement Plus, 97 percent of whom feltCare Improvement Plus contributed to their health improvements
