FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 31 General Dynamics InformationTechnology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was honoredyesterday with the 2008 Outstanding Contractor Award by the Administration forChildren and Families (ACF) within the Department of Health and HumanServices.

The award recognizes extraordinary performance under the Child CareBureau's (CCB) Child Care contract. This is the second time General DynamicsInformation Technology has been honored with this contractor award, winning in2006. In addition, General Dynamics' redesign and deployment of the bureau'sweb site earned CCB an E-Gov Trailblazer Award in 2001.

General Dynamics has supported ACF since 2000, providing a variety ofservices including training and technical assistance, development of softwareapplications and data analysis. General Dynamics developed and maintainsthree websites: the Child Care Bureau website, the http://www.Afterschool.govportal and the http://www.ChildCare.gov portal.
