CARLSBAD, Calif., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- GenVault Corporation today announces the opening of its newly-formed Japanese subsidiary in order to better serve the needs of the expanding Biobanking market and its growing customer base in Japan. GenVault Japan KK will be responsible for the marketing, selling and technical support of the full range of GenVault products and services in Japan.

GenVault is also delighted to announce that Mr. Junya Tominaga has joined the company in the role of Managing Director, GenVault Japan. Mr. Tominaga has over twenty years of senior management experience in the Japanese life science market place, most recently serving as the Managing Director of Illumina, Japan. Prior to this Mr. Tominaga held positions as Managing Director of Molecular Dynamics Japan and Clontech Japan.
