GNC Sends OTC Medicines to U.S. Troops Serving Overseas

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 24 GNC today shipped nearly 50,000packages of Pepto-Bismol, Alka-Seltzer, Zicam, Band-Aids and more to ourcountry's soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan.

This donation is representative of GNC's commitment to the U.S. militaryand its hardworking men and women who share the company's mission: to helppeople everywhere live longer, happier, healthier lives.

"This meansproviding them with trusted nutritional information and high-quality productsthey need to stay healthy, especially when they're hard at work overseas. Weknow our troops use and appreciate these products, so this donation makesperfect sense."

The over-the-counter remedies will be distributed to active duty men andwomen all over the United States as they depart for service.
