MADD is a non-profit charity recognized by the Better Business Bureau with affiliates and volunteers nationwide who work to combat drunk driving. MADD trained victim advocates served 58,000 victims/survivors in 2008 at no charge to them. In 2009, the organization launched The Power of Parents.
