Freudenberg-NOK CEO Accepts New Position

PLYMOUTH, Mich., Dec. 7 The Board of Freudenberg & Co. announced today that effective May 1, 2010, Dr. Mohsen Sohi will join the Management Board of Freudenberg & Co. On July 1, 2010, Dr. Sohi will take over from Jorg Sost, who will be retiring. In his new role, Dr. Sohi will be responsible for the global portfolio of Sealing businesses.

To assume this role, Dr. Sohi will leave his current role as the CEO of Freudenberg-NOK, a joint venture company between Freudenberg of Germany and NOK Corporation of Japan. Dr. Sohi has been the CEO of Freudenberg-NOK since March of 2003. Prior to that, he was responsible for the Global Store Automation business of NCR Corporation. Prior to NCR, Dr. Sohi held various management roles of increasing responsibility at AlliedSignal and Honeywell Corporations. His latest responsibility at Honeywell was as the President of Honeywell Electronic Materials business.
