Prior to his joining Flagship, Larsen was a senior executive with FUJIFILMMedical Systems where he was instrumental in the development, marketing andcommercial release of Fuji's Synapse(R) Picture Archive and CommunicationSystem (PACS). Larsen also introduced a number of key innovations at Fuji thatwere influential in changing the entire market in the way a PACS is purchasedand deployed in the healthcare field.
Before Fuji, Larsen was employed by Acuson Corporation, last serving asvice president of new market development for that leading ultrasoundtechnology company that was later acquired by Siemens. From 1981-1988, hespecialized in sales and marketing of ultrasound and nuclear medicine forPicker International.
