Filtrona further announces that its Bonded Fiber Components division willbe renamed and launched as Filtrona Porous Technologies, comprising of bothFiltrona Fibertec and Lendell. Filtrona Porous Technologies will operate as adeveloper and manufacturer of liquid handling and other specialty, porouscomponents based on fiber, foam, and other media for use in consumer andprofessional end-use devices. Filtrona's Porous Technologies Division will beheadquartered in Richmond, Virginia, with offices and manufacturing locationsin Richmond, Virginia, Reinbek, Germany; Ningbo, China; and now Saint Charles,Michigan. Lendell foam technology will be strategically installed in FiltronaPorous Technologies locations as required to continue to develop the businessand meet customer requirements. The Filtrona Fibertec name and brand willremain to designate its bonded fiber technology products and expertise, whilefoam products will be marketed under the Lendell Foams brand.

In establishing the Filtrona Porous Technologies Division, the executivemanagement team will be joined by Tim Drumhiller, President of Lendell,bringing with him 20 years of expertise in the medical, consumer products, andcosmetics markets. Mr. Drumhiller, who will assume the position of DivisionalVice President Foam Products, commented, "Lendell has for the last 10 yearsbeen a benchmark of quality for technical foam products.
