According to its website, "Wedgwood Healing Center "is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction.  Felicity also assists Medical Residents (from varying countries and states) in finding accommodations during their internships at the University of Washington. Any proceeds from student placement are directly donated to the Psoriasis Research Project.

Felicity was inspired to enter the nursing field and learn more about Psoriasis following the death of her best friend who died as a result of this debilitating disease. She now coordinates Psoriasis research as well as Volunteer Assistant Placement, Program Housing Placement and the Natural Healing Information Library at the Center, all as part of her role.

In addition, Felicity is furthering her commitment to Psoriasis Research by collaborating with Mary Olson of the Mercy Apostol Psoriasis Documentation Center. They were inspired to enact a Protocol, written by Mary Olson in Soap Lake, Eastern Washington, acclaiming that bathing in Soap Lake's mineral water and applying the sediment base to psoriatic lesions, had a positive effect in alleviating this skin condition for an extended period of time.

Volunteers with Psoriasis are currently being accepted for the period of a 14-day protocol. The results will be presented to Bastyr University (a Naturopathic Institution) who will in turn create their own research after this pilot study. Volunteers are sought and welcomed exuberantly.

Felicity earned her Master of Science degree in Health Care Services (MSHCS), and is also experienced in Clinical Research Nursing where she worked in for 13 years until retirement. She also spent 11 years as a Certified Critical Care R.N., and 8 years working as a Medical-Surgical RN. She also worked as a Transplant ICU nurse at the University of Washington Medical Center.

To further her professional development, Felicity is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. In honor of her outstanding work, she earned a Daisy Award from the University of Washington in 2012.

When not working, Felicity enjoys spending time with her daughter, Bernadette, who is working on her Medical Informatics Certification and her son, Luke, who is an Accounting Assistant for Wedgwood Healing Center. Visiting her grandchildren, from Jake and Lovely Laban, owners of Skin By Lovely in Portland, Oregon, is one of the most delightful parts of her retirement at this time.
