The lawsuits contend that Florida smokers were victims of an industry-wideplot to cover up the deadly effects of smoking cigarettes. Furthermore, thesuit argues that Florida smokers, in many instances, were addicted to nicotineand unable to quit smoking. As a result, the smokers developed variouscancers and other smoking-related illnesses such as Emphysema andcardiovascular disease.

"Many Florida residents and their families have been negatively affectedand suffered undue hardship because tobacco companies such as Phillip Morris,R.J. Reynolds, Liggett Group and others have purposely concealed health risksassociated with smoking. These companies have been misleading people foryears and in some cases, have even manipulated the nicotine content in thecigarettes," stated Gary. "Too many people have lost loved ones due to thisnegligent behavior. The quality of life for our clients has been compromised. This is absurd and we seek justice! It is our sincere hope that these tobaccocompanies will do the right thing and bring resolve to the many families whowere harmed," continued Gary.

Gary is no stranger to seeking justice. He is noted for winning a $240million jury verdict in Orlando, Florida against the Walt Disney Corporationfor his clients who alleged Disney stole their idea for a sports theme park. Also, Gary was awarded $18.28 million against the media conglomerate GannettCompany for the false portrayal of their client in a series of newspaperarticles.
