Exponent to Announce Second Quarter 2009 Results

MENLO PARK, Calif., July 14 Exponent, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXPO), today announced that it will release financial results for the second quarter ended July 3, 2009, immediately following the close of the market on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. The Company will host a corresponding conference call and live webcast at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time/1:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Paul Johnston, President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Gaulke, Executive Chairman, and Richard Schlenker, Chief Financial Officer, will discuss the results.

A live webcast of this conference call will be available on the Investor Relations section of the Company's web site at www.exponent.com/investors.
