Exosome Diagnostics Appoints Johan Skog, Ph.D., as Director of Genetics Research

NEW YORK, Sept. 12 Exosome Diagnostics, Inc. todayannounced the appointment of Johan Skog, Ph.D., as director of geneticsresearch. In this role, Dr. Skog will oversee the research program thatunderlies the company's development of its blood-based diagnostics that canidentify cancer-specific genetic mutations.

Dr. Skog is the primary discoverer and inventor of Exosome Diagnostics'core technology that has been licensed exclusively to the company byMassachusetts General Hospital. He is also a post-doctoral researcher at themolecular neurogenetics unit of Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Skogreceived his Ph.D. specializing in gene therapy from Umea University in Sweden.
