LANCASTER, Pa., July 23 Eastern Insurance Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: EIHI) announced today that it plans to release financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009, following the close of market trading on Thursday, August 6, 2009.

EIHI will host a conference call on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. ET to review the Company's 2009 second quarter results. The conference call will feature remarks by Bruce M. Eckert, Chief Executive Officer, Michael L. Boguski, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Kevin M. Shook, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer.
